Otero College President Search
Otero College (OC) President, Dr. Timothy Alvarez has announced his retirement effective August 11, 2023. The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) Chancellor, Joe Garcia, has initiated a nationwide search for the next Otero College President.
CCCS is committed to a thorough and inclusive search process which will identify the best leader for OC. This effort will be led by Christina Cecil, CCCS Chief Human Resources Officer. A president search advisory committee of college stakeholders has been formed to assist in the selection process.

Recruitment for this position is underway. Our goal is to finalize the OC President Position Profile before early March. The search advisory committee will begin assessing applications during the Spring semester. We invite you to submit candidate nominations through the link below.
